Labor Day Concert – Elvis Tribute
When: Monday, September 2, 2024, Labor Day
Where: Cantigny Park 1S, 151 Winfield Road Wheaton, IL 60189 630/260-8162
Time: 3 - 5 p.m. (Marlene Berman will be there earlier to set up an area for all Club 50 attendees)
Cost: $20 per car for parking - no other entrance fee (We can try to car pool)
Specifics: "Elvis My Way" performed by Brandon Bennett (Chicago "Million Dollar Quartet" star). Brandon is the winner of Graceland's "Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist” award. In addition to performing Elvis favorites, he offers a bit of history about the star.
Food trucks are available, but it's also more fun to bring food to share.
Bring your own chair, beverage, and anything else you might need. There are some shaded areas, but it's mostly out in the sun.
Cantigny is a beautiful park. Come early so you can wander around and see the McCormick Mansion (might not be open that day for tours) and the gardens.
If it rains, we cancel!
Please let Marlene know if you'll be attending. She will try to have some kind of a sign to designate where Club 50 is sitting.
This will be a well-attended event and there might be large crowds, so be prepared to do a little walking!
